OurFootballClub.com is pleased to announce that Monday 30 April is the sign-up deadline for fans wanting to choose the name of the new club.
Edusport Academy is being restructured for next season by owner Chris Ewing, with supporters being given the chance to take control of the club going forward.
A joining fee of £25 allows members unprecedented access to the inner workings of the Lowland League outfit with a range of responsibilities including choosing the name, crest and strip of the club.
The first of those tasks is selecting a name and a consultation period will commence on 1 May. Anyone wanting to be involved in renaming the club, has to join by the end of April prior to the launch of the consultation.
Following the completion of the process, a short list of names will then be announced for members to vote on, with the new name being unveiled in mid-May.
There will be several other key deadlines during the coming weeks for members to take part in different key decisions ahead of season 2018-19.
“This is a defining moment in the history of the club,” said Chris.
“There has been a lot of talk on the forums already about new names and now people have until April to sign up and have their say in the vote.
“Anyone who wants to play a part in this process needs to have signed up by April 30. Renaming and rebranding the club is an exciting time and we look forward to welcoming many more members ahead of the deadline.”
Other membership deadlines for voting on the design of the crest, kit and board of directors will be announced in due course.
