Edusport Academy will play its last ever home game on Saturday, April 14 when Civil Service Strollers visit Galabank in the Lowland League and free transport is being put on for the special occasion.
Owner Chris Ewing is changing the structure of the club for next season via the OurFootballClub.com project which will allow supporters to take control going forward.
Fans will shortly be voting on the name of the new club, the renaming being followed by a new crest and kit design.
The fixture against CSS will be an historic moment for the club and all current members who have paid their £25 joining fee can take advantage of the generous offer.
The free bus will be leaving George Square in Glasgow at 11.30am, returning after the game, and Chris is hoping to see as many members as possible grab a seat.
“We won’t see the name Edusport Academy on a fixture list again so April 14 is a very special moment in the history of the club,” said Chris.
“To mark the occasion we’re putting on a free bus from Glasgow to Annan to give as many members as possible the chance to go to the game.
“It is a great chance for members to chat to each other in person rather than on the forums and discuss future plans.
“One chapter of Edusport Academy will close on April 14 but it won’t be long before the start of another one when members vote on a new name.”
Any member wishing to book their seat on the free bus, should email firstname.lastname@example.org before Friday, April 13.
